Immanuel UCC’s New Settled Pastor
Reverend Tracy Howe
We are excited to announce that Rev. Tracy Howe will join us, as our settled pastor beginning June 1, 2026.
Rev. Tracy Howe
Rev. Howe currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her 15 year old daughter, Sasha. She expects to complete her PhD dissertation at the University of Arizona prior to relocating. She received her BA in Comparative Religions from Colorado College and her Ministry of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. She was ordained in 2016. Music is a big part of her life. She spent many years touring as a singer/songwriter and has produced several recordings about the lived realities of people in many different places and the struggles for life and justice everywhere. She has extensive experience with social justice actions supporting marginalized communities, most recently working with Apache Stronghold in Arizona. She was previously an associate pastor in Charlottesville, VA and was a frontline organizer the summer of 2017 and during the Unite the Right rally.
She has worked as a program director in Costa Rica (she is fluent in Spanish) and Washington, DC. In Tucson, she started a dinner church that she has been leading for over a year and also is the founder and director of Restoration Village Arts, a non-profit that supports an interfaith network of faith leaders, artists, theologians, and organizations sharing resources and collaborating on justice issues. For the last eight years, she has worked for the National UCC office first as Minister for Congregational and Community Engagement and now as Minister of Faith Education, Innovation and Formation. In this capacity, she has done training of numerous faith communities, helped obtain grants for church vitality and growth, and worked with other faith-based organizations.
We are delighted to have her lead us forward into being the faith community that God has called us to be.
Welcome Reverend Tracy!
